SCRABBLE |
|
Scrabble will go back to its old time on Wednesdays 2.15-4.15pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays in the month. The meetings will be in the homes of Shirley Taub (8954 5250 second Wednesday) and Joyce Quinten (8954 7596 fourth Wednesday). They both live in Stanmore. Everyone is welcome to this social occasion for both beginners and the more experienced players Please phone Shirley or Joyce to say you are coming. |

SILK PAINTING |
|
For a maximum of four people. This will be led by Mrs Trudy Raphael at her home, The course will start on Monday 13 September at 2.30pm until 4.00pm and will continue weekly. EMBROIDERY |

This will be an introduction to traditional embroidery stitches and techniques, with a contemporary approach to developing your own design. It will be led by Sara Maier at her home for a maximum of six members on Monday afternoons 2.00-4.00pm. Further details from Sara 020-8908 8582 |

CHAIR EXERCISES |
|
This activity is ideal for those who want to maintain or improve their mobility but cannot do conventional standing or floor exercises. The programme starts with a warm-up session, followed by exercises to help flexibility and strength, and concludes with a short relaxation period Sessions will be held at a house in Edgware on Thursdays 2.30-3.30pm starting October 14.
