NW LONDON U3A
We cover Burnt Oak, Colindale, Edgware
Golders Green, Hendon, Kenton,
Mill Hil
Stanmore and Wembley in NW London.
We aim to provide an exhilarating experience. U3A stands for University of the Third
Age. An international organisation with over 130,000 UK members spread over 520
groups.
We encourage lifelong learning through stimulating groups. Although called a University, we do not offer qualifications. 'University' is used in its original sense of ‘groups of people wishing to study or discuss a subject’. 3A refers to people in their 'Third Age'. Click here for more information.
WHERE DO WE MEET?
We have centres in Stanmore, Hampstead Garden Suburb, Kenton and members homes.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We meet regularly to discuss and follow topics ranging from Art to Yiddish. Periodic outings and visiting lecturers provide a further opportunity to socialise and meet other members
