Rabbi Raphael Berdugo (d.) married his niece Rebecca Berdugo (d. 1 June 2000) in Haifa. From the age of 16 he worked on the Berdugo family tree, finally drawing three trees (aleph, bet, gimel) corresponding to the different parts of the Berdugo family.
