This site is complementary to Daniel's site.
Originally created as a
graphical site t o provide
more information than can be found on Daniel's site.
This is too time consuming with such a large family so we decided to redesign the site focusing on the ancestors and descendents of my wife's parents, both of whom were Berdugo's.
This
decision was influenced by reading
'Brothers' by Bernice Rubens and 'The Book of Abraham' by Marek
Halter
Different branches of the
family are also writing their family histories. It is hoped to be able
to add these, and photographs, so they can be viewed by a wide audience
My family memories are lost (my
grandparents came from Poland and the Ukraine).

My
mother-in-law (Anna Berdugo) and father-in-law (Samuel Berdugo) were distant
cousins. Their marriage also saw the reunification of Branch Aleph and
Branch Gimel of the family tree
Anna Berdugo was from Rabat while Samuel was from Meknes. There was little
contact even though they were branches of the same family
Rabbi Yekotiel Berdugo (Anna's
father) who was the Chief Rabbi of Morocco had two wife's. I don't know
the the name of his first wife.
